One of the most incredible destination wedding invitations we had the honor of creating. The destination wedding of Soraiya & Prakash! This New York City couple infused their wedding with adventure and culture for all their guests. Tying the knot in Marrakech, Morocco in a fusion Indian-Muslim 5 day fete for all to enjoy. The exotic celebration included their Hindu ceremony on the green at the luxe Fairmont Royal Palm Hotel followed by a romantic and lavish sunset dinner in the desert. Decorated Arabian tents were the perfect touch that later carried onto a grand ball with dinner & dancing!
Destination Wedding Invitations
Let's face it, destination weddings bring everyone closer together. Something about getting out of the everyday routine and being on vacation mode builds strong connections between your friends and family. On the other hand, destination weddings, with international travel, transportation, multiple events, and all the details, often require multiple pieces in the invitation. To communicate all essential information and logistics without crowding the emotive and elegant main invitation can be a challenge.
The Wedding wording and details
Knowing these challenges, the couple created a Schedule of Events, main invitation along with a smaller Petite enclosure. The enclosure conveyed their wedding website and online RSVP details. T bring it all together they opted for a folio. Our very own exclusive piece designed to hold all your invitation stationery together. It perfectly matched with their Córdoba design in a beautiful gold pearl finish.
Deep violet and ombre came to life with this suite. Along with, the Spanish-Moorish-Indian feel of the design, it all fit perfectly with the theme of their destination!
The words we choose also play a role in the beauty of an invitation. For instance, they choose event titles in French and a meaningful and inspirational quote to set the tone.
“And I’d choose you; in a hundred lifetimes, in a hundred worlds, in any version of reality, I’d find you and I’d choose you.”
― Kiersten White, The Chaos of Stars
All of these details were captured so beautifully by Barcelona based photographers, Natan & Esther. We are thrilled to share the images of this magical fairytale event with you!
